I think God just didn’t want me to play airsoft today. I had hoped to make BAASH’s mini op in Afton, but that fell through due to the lack of a babysitter. Since I could play in the AM, I slid over to the BedSOG guys camp. We got through two games of attack/defend the fort. During our break, one of the guys had to leave. Unfortuntly he wrecked up the street so we spent the next 30 minutes or so aiding the State Police with traffic direction. By the time it cleared up, I had to leave. While the games were good, it was too short.

Saturday, October 28th, 2006Operation: Cabbage Patch
Sunday, October 22nd, 2006Today saw the combining of the B.R.A.S.S. and BedSOG teams for some good games! The Liberty field was used. The first was the object retreival mission, named above. The Austrian Rebels shot down the Germans Stealth Helicopter (dont’ ask!). In the process of going down, the helo dropped two stealth missles, a satcom phone, and the “black box” flight recorder was also flung out. The two crew members survived and escaped as well. The German Government has decided to save face and publically ignore the incident. Covertly they asked for US aid. A SEAL team training in the area was rerouted to assist. The Austrians managed to secure the satcom phone and both missiles. The SEAL team managed to secure the flight recorder and eventually tracked down the helo crew. Then they went to intercept the Austrians at their extraction point. After some fierce fighting from both sides, the SEAL’s were able to re-aquire the missles. Giving the satcom phone up as a lost cause the SEAL team took all thier captured objectives to the extraction zone. The Sealed Card Medic System was in place.
After this game a Deathmatch (5 on 5) with the Ghost Squad active ensued. Itsahak managed to walk his team right into an ambush and paid the price first. It did not take long for the Ghost Squad to be activated. Two or three players were still active when it became to dark to continue, as no one was equiped for a night game.
