The Tower And Mass Surrender!

Monday, November 13th, 2006

Sunday Oct. 12th saw yet another combined game day between B.R.A.S.S. and BedSOG. We did our days gaming at the Emergency Services Training Center. Lots of fun!! The day started out with Itsahak, Hammerhead, The General and two SOG members defending the Tower against 8 assualters. Itsahak actually used the roof and provided intel and sniper cover. The General racked up a couple of good kills. Eventually the invaders were able to take the tower, but it cost them well in respawns and time!

So we did it again! Itsahak and 4 members of BedSOG went in, this time only defending the second floor (half of which is ground level.). Suffice it to say the game was going well until we forgot to pay attention to Uncle Larry! Uncle Larry was a true first timer, using a Wells P90 LPEG and wearing jeans and a Blue, White, and Black coat. Kinda stands out huh? So tell me how this guy comes back from the respawn point and walks right up to the building! We were all so focused on the other attackers, we forgot about Uncle Larry! He walked right up to the building, and right in the door! Surrendered 4 of the 5 of us by proxy. He was then surrendered by the remaining defender who had been on the stairs. As you can imagine, it didn’t take them long to take the building then.

We moved over to the Obstacle Course and did a Capture The Flag game that lasted until after dark. Good fun, and tactics all the way around.

A huge thanks go out to the BedSOG guys for changing thier plans and coming out with us!! Also, for assisting in the cleanup. Above and beyond the call of duty!

How Airsoft Guns Work

Looking for a schematic on a malfunctioning AEG, I found this image. It’s an animated example of how an AEGs gearbox works.

At the very least it provides an decent example of how the AEGs work on the inside
