Game on Feb 18, 2007

Sunday, February 18th, 2007

B.R.A.S.S. held a game today, Sunday Feb. 18, 2007. Present was Itsahak, Stealth, Hammerhead and The General with Visitors Sgt T, and Brian.

The first game was a dual object retrieval game with a “satellite intel box” (okay so its really a computer part, but hey) and an ICBM (Inter Continental Ballistic Pipe). The items were placed at different areas. Itsahak, Hammerhead and Then General set up and were to defend the objects. Stealth, Sgt T. and Brian were to assault and retrieve the objects. The Sealed Card Medic System was used. Hammerhead and The General stayed in the center section of the field while Itsahak attempted to come up behind Stealth and crew. ‘Hak was successful in coming up on their six only to find them on guard. After a brief fire fight with ‘Hak outnumbered 3 to 1 and flanked by Brian and Sgt. T on opposite sides ensued with ‘Hak being taken out. Stealth and his squad had already retrieved the first objective. ‘Hak retreated to the top side of the ridge, re-spawned and re-engaged. At this point, ‘Hak, Hammerhead and The General linked up and set up a perimeter around the missile objective. Hammerhead radioed in that the OpFor was in sight. ‘Hak was able to ambush one member of the OpFor, but soon came under fire from Stealth. The General and ‘Hak engaged Stealth in a losing battle of distance. Hammerhead was able to take out Brian just as he reached the missile, only to be taken out by the combined force of Stealth and the re-spawned Sgt. T. A well played game!!

For the days second game, ‘Hak, Stealth, and Sgt. T teamed up for a force on force game against Hammerhead, The General, and Brian. Way to much happened in the 45 minute time limit to go into details with, but suffice it to say that contact was made very early and a large and long firefight ensued with many hits and re-spawns on both sides. The final tally ended with ‘Hak down to his last life, Sgt. T with 2 left and Stealth untouched. The General and Hammerhead were both out, and Brian was running. Brian however pulled a fast one and simply vanished! ‘Hak and the boys spent the rest of the time limit in an unsuccessful attempt to find Brian. Another well played, tactical round!

Games from 2-3 and 2-11-07

Tuesday, February 13th, 2007

B.R.A.S.S. held a game Saturday, February 3rd. There were three attendees, Itsahak, Hammer, and Eric. Hammer and Eric were both visitors. Though the day was very cold and windy, we had a lot of fun! We ran two scenarios basically running two on one scenarios. From a historical standpoint, this was Hammer’s first time, in all of his years of airsoft, playing with an AR variant!!! Glad I was there for that!

B.R.A.S.S. also held games on February 11, 2007. Our turn out for this day was 7 people. Present were Itsahak, SA, Stealth, Skibum, Chemdog, Hammer and Eric. We started with an Object Retrieval game with ‘Hak and SA defending while Stealth led Hammer and Eric. Ski and Chem were coming late and were suppose to be attacking everyone upon arrival. Unbeknownst to ‘Hak and SA though, Stealth and company had recruited the services of Ski and Chem! They soon found themselves on the wrong end of firefight with their backs to the tree line and the OpFor on both sides of their front. A well played strategy by Stealth and the boys!!

Sides were then switched with Hammer and Eric joining ‘Hak and SA. This left Skibum, Chemdog and Stealth to guard the objective. There were some coms issues that resulted in the objective being misplaced. Though Ski and his squad had placed it on top of the brush pile in plain site, it fell down into the pile. After a search of the Pine side, ‘Hak and the boys moved over to the Oak side. There they engaged in a fierce firefight with the Raptor squad. Much damage was done, with most of Raptor being cleared out by the superior numbers on ‘Haks side. However, as the Raptor boys took a big chance and left the object unguarded and fiercely defended a patch of nothing, ‘Hak and the rest of X-Ray squad were unable to find the objective before games end, . Again a nice round played by Raptor.Â
