Game Day, March 18, 2007
Games were held at the Liberty Field. Sealed Card Medic System was in place. Present at todays game were:
Itsahak, Stealth, Skibum, Chemdog, Sgt T (first game as an official B.R.A.S.S. member!), and Bart.
Games started with a 3 on 3 elimination match. Teams were Skibum, Chemdog and Bart (Team SCB)vs. Itsahak, Stealth, and Sgt T (Team ISS). ISS moved to the roadway and proceeded toward the staging area. Before they had gone 20 yards, they began to experience comm troubles. They decided to try and sneak to the staging area and replace the messed up ear pieces. While sneaking their way down, they actually found the SCB team. ISS bellied down and waited for SCB to pass by. Unfortunately, SCB began to swing their way. ‘Hak finally could wait no longer, with both Bart and Chem bearing down on him. He opened fire on Bart, but Bart had seen him a split second earlier and was taking cover. ‘Hak got out of there quickly while Stealth covered the six and Sgt T set up on the far side of the road. Intent on keeping the SCB teams attention, ‘Hak began a leap frog and fire action up the far side of the road and to the edge of the staging area. Making it to the debris on the edge of the staging area, ‘Hak continued to engage all three SCB members. Sgt T and Stealth attempted to reinforce from the side, but were to late, with ‘Hak getting hit. As ‘Hak settled back for his respawn time, the collective of SCB move across the small valley to engage Stealth and Sgt. T. ‘Hak respawned and was able to eliminate Bart before they realized he was back up. However, both Skibum and Chem turned their attention to him and he had to scoot on! ‘Hak rejoined his team on the far side of the road. Stealth had been hit at this point and was waiting to respawn. The remaining members of ISS kept the two SCB members across the road briefly before they began to move in. ‘Hak noticed Bart slipping up the side of the staging area and took him out again. Sgt T took a hit shortly thereafter, and having issues with his replica went out. Stealth respawned, and he and ‘Hak continued to sling plastic wrath with Skibum and Chemdog. After a short foot race for cover against Chemdog, ‘Hak soon took his last hit and went out. With both Chemdog and Skibum after him, Stealth was soon out for good as well.
For the second game, an Object Retrieval was played. This one saw ‘Hak, Skibum, and Bart (Team HSB, defending) against Chemdog, Stealth, and Sgt T (Team CSS, assaulting). HSB got to the Objective point at the Pipeline top and placed the object in the open in front of a tree, right on the path. The coin toss (okay so actually a rock was used, but who calls it a rock toss?!) determined their state would be “ready”. HSB set out in a triangle perimeter and waited for CSS to arrive. In due time, Skibum radioed that he had visual contact with Sgt T. Bart was watching Chemdog briefly before losing sight of him. Stealth moved out to the his left, and walked right into ‘Hak who was laying (literally!) in ambush. After sending Stealth to the respawn, ‘Hak moved up to reinforce Skibum who had engaged Chemdog. ‘Hak was soon taken out as was Bart on the far side. Soon with Chemdog, Sgt T and the respawned Stealth moving in on him, Skibum joined his teammates in a respawn time. Team HSB waited to respawn while watching the CSS crew search for the object. ‘Hak respawned first and re-engaged all of CSS. That obviously was a mistake as he was quickly sent back to a respawn time. Bart was soon back in the game, just as the CSS guys found the objective. As the CSS guys set off to extract to the staging area, Bart hotfooted it down the Pipeline trail to head them off. As soon as Skibum respawned he also set some land speed records getting to the staging area. ‘Hak soon respawned and began to stalk the CSS group that Skibum and Bart had slowed down in the small valley. Seeing that both Sgt T and Stealth were off behind cover and that there would be no way to reach them, ‘Hak concentrated on Chemdog. Chem was attempting to sneak across the bottom of the valley while engaging Skibum. ‘Hak threw caution to the wind, initiating a suicide charge of about 100 yards. Chem didn’t know he was coming until the bb’s started to fly around him. Except that ‘Hak forgot about the importance of “aiming”! And of course Chem wasn’t the only one that noticed ‘Haks death charge. As ‘Hak was attempting get cover and engage Chem, he found himself in a hail of plastic power from all three members of the CSS team. ‘Hak was down and out! As ‘Hak was entering the staging area, Skibum was also eliminated. This left Bart on his own to face the CSS team. Bart had good cover and was making a valiant effort. That is until his AEG’s ammo ran out! Bart readied his side arm and was prepared to engage in close combat but was denied the opportunity when he was hit a final time.
A good day, and lots of fun had by all! B.R.A.S.S. is looking forward to next week!

A great day….probably the most ammo i have ever used in one day (let alone two scenerio’s) I think i went through 4 hi-caps, and 5 midcaps between the two scenerio’s. (approx 1800 rounds……)
